It had been a dismally grey day today and I felt as if the gloomth was sitting on my shoulders for most of it. Nothing went right and I was becoming gloomier as the day wore on. Even photographing the flowers in the garden didn’t help and the results were very poor.
Then, around 6pm, the sun started to break through, the clouds began to disperse, and a beautiful blue sky began to make an entrance. Elated, I rushed to get my camera and managed to take my first shots of a skyscape. The bird – which is too distant to identify – arrived just at the right moment!
