Caught Up

Photographed this morning whilst on a peruse of the garden, a couple of seeds caught in fine cobweb threads between Willowherb stems. It has been raining since I took the photo so they may have become free in the meantime.

The weather feels a little Autumnal at the moment – there’s a low pressure system sitting over the UK bringing rain, winds and cooler temperatures. I quite like the changes in weather during each season, but I have to admit to always feeling a little gloomy when grey skies are lurking.

  1. Excellent composition. Effective use of positive & negative space to frame the subject and draw the viewer’s attention. Nice sharp foreground with contrasting bokeh in the background. Well done !

    • Thank you very much! I’d tried to photograph this plant before and wasn’t happy with the results. I was pleased that the seeds added that ‘something’ which was missing before!
