Simply Sky

I took this photograph of an interesting sky yesterday afternoon. I mentioned in yesterday’s post that there was a change in the air – a hint of Autumn; this has continued today. I think, apart from the strong NW wind that’s blowing, the change in light levels is possibly accentuating the change from Summer to Autumn. When you think about it, it’s almost two months since midsummer. I can’t believe where the time goes ……..

    1. Thank you Sheila! Gosh – you’ve had that humidity for a while now. It’s lovely and sunny here today – it’s the NW wind that causes the change. I’ve no complaints though – we’ve had pretty good (Summery) weather in England since the end of March!

    1. Thank you very much! Clouds are wonderful. I have a couple of cloud books as I wanted to learn all the types but it isn’t straightforward. They often seem to be a mix of different types – except the solid grey blanket of stratus!

  1. I love the clouds, Meanderer! They present an everchanging subject to watch and enjoy. πŸ™‚ I know what you miean about the time, September is almost here, and I haven’t finished my July to-do list 😦 Arrrgh!!!

    1. Thank you Ted! Yes – particularly on a windy day such as yesterday, it’s fun watching their shapes change. So time is going quick for you too – I wonder why it seems so these days…….
