Japanese Anemone

I photographed this Japanese anemone whilst at Heale Gardens last week. I like the way these lovely white flowers brighten up a dark area.

I read somewhere (it was remiss of me not to note the source) that planting white anemones in dark areas of a garden is part of the design of a Japanese-style garden.

    1. Thank you! Yes – it’s wonderful to photograph a beautiful flower whilst a bee, butterfly or insect is busy doing its work! Anemones are such beautiful, graceful flowers aren’t they? Many thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂
