Catching On

I’m being trained in a new job at the moment and it’s quite mentally demanding; there’s just so much to take in and absorb and I wonder whether I will ever remember it all! Yesterday morning was a little stressful but a walk by the river in the afternoon soothed all the stress away.

Whilst watching swans and ducks floating along I noticed this seed caught on these dried flower stems. It looked so pretty and bright in the sun. I like the simplicity of the image and its symbolism as I’m hoping I will ‘catch on’ to all the things I need to learn in the new job pretty quickly!

  1. It’s good to take a break, clear the mind, and enjoy nature…even the simple things. Even a short break helps the mind think better. It will take time, but you will get there. Nice photo.

    • Thank you Sheila! Yes – a new job is always difficult. The feeling of not knowing what you don’t know is quite disconcerting! Hopefully by the end of this week things will settle down!
