I’m being trained in a new job at the moment and it’s quite mentally demanding; there’s just so much to take in and absorb and I wonder whether I will ever remember it all! Yesterday morning was a little stressful but a walk by the river in the afternoon soothed all the stress away.
Whilst watching swans and ducks floating along I noticed this seed caught on these dried flower stems. It looked so pretty and bright in the sun. I like the simplicity of the image and its symbolism as I’m hoping I will ‘catch on’ to all the things I need to learn in the new job pretty quickly!
wonderful detail on this image. i was immediately drawn to it. it looks quite like a downy feather. good luck with the new job.

Many thanks Terry. It does look feather-like doesn’t it? So light and hanging on so firmly.

It’s good to take a break, clear the mind, and enjoy nature…even the simple things. Even a short break helps the mind think better. It will take time, but you will get there. Nice photo.

Yes; I could have sat indoors and stewed indefinitely but going out and communing with nature was – as most often – the remedy to stress!

nice colours and contrasts. It is only natural when you start a new job to feel that way. I am sure the steepness of the learning curve will ease quicker than you expect.

It is – that’s so true. One gets so absorbed in looking at Nature closely that any stressful feelings generally melt away.
