Blurred

Here is a photograph I took yesterday during the storm which swept across the UK. The wind was howling, the sky was a dark shade of grey and the steady rain suddenly changed direction as large drops began pelting the window of the upstairs room I was in.

The drops made for interesting patterns on the Birch tree. The effect reminds me of a charcoal drawing which has had drops of water sprinkled on it.

    • Thank you Jeanne. Trees make for such inspirational subjects; I’ve photographed and featured quite a few recently! This image does look like a B&W version doesn’t it? It was a very grey day!

    • Thank you Dave. Ah, yes; the thick patterned obscure glass which used to be used a lot in bathrooms before the smoother type became popular. It does look like a view through that!
