Winter Resilience

Here are some Snowdrops photographed a day after the snow and ice which came and went during the weekend. These delicate-looking late Winter – early Spring flowers still managed to look beautiful after some very cold, wet and icy weather conditions.

  1. Resilience says it all. Great photo of remarkable flowers. I once was in Zion National Park after a spring downpour–and I swear wild flowers seemed to burst forth within minutes of the rain stopping. It is amazing to watch! Thanks for capturing such a miraculous moment.

    • Oh yes – I’ve seen flowers recover quickly from downpours too. It is remarkable and amazing! These little flowers were sitting amidst the muddy slush but looked so beautiful. Many thanks Patti.
