Fuzzy Flower

A soft fluffy, fuzzy white Pulsatilla flower (pasque flower) peeps out over finely cut foliage. Although a different colour flower to the burgeoning bud featured in ‘Velvety Bud‘, the soft downy, velvety detail can still be seen. I love these flowers but don’t think I have a sunny enough spot in the garden for them.

  1. Do these winter over there? I love them, but my friend has tried to start them several times, and each time, they don’t come back after the first season. What a nice photo!

    • I’ll check whether they are hardy Sandy and will come back to you. They are such wonderful flowers; I have a photo of the seed head and it is just amazing (will post soon).

  2. You have captured the detail really well. I like the contrast of the delicate yellow and pristine white with the green.
