Cow Parsley

Cow Parsley flowers and buds from a semi-shaded spot in the garden this afternoon. I love Cow Parsley’s delicate white umbellifer-shaped flowers, and the finely cut leaves.

The weather has turned a little more Spring-like after all the rain, wind, and cold. It’s wonderful to see the lovely blue sky and to feel the warmth of the sun.

    • Thank you Sallyann. I walked to work early this morning in shirt sleeves but the wind was a bit chilly! Fortunately it warmed up by the time I walked home early afternoon. It’s been lovely to feel the warmth of the sun!

    • Thank you Truels. 10 degrees is a little chilly and we have been averaging around that temp here also. Yesterday and today have certainly felt a little warmer although the breeze is a cold one.

  1. Not only are the flowers lovely and delicate, but the glowing green of their background is so intense that it breathes even more vibrant life into the whole. It just squeals “Spring”!

    • Thanks so much Gary. The mass of finely cut feathery leaves do make an intense green background. It certainly feels a lot more like Spring this weekend and I’m grateful for it!
