Warm-tone Umbellifers

I usually photograph umbellifers when in flower – usually white or whitish-pink with green – or in silhouette but these umbellifers in seed pod stage caught my eye today. I like the warm tones of pinks, greens and golds against the golden-pink colour of the wheat stubble.

    1. Many thanks Gary. I seemed to miss this stage of the Umbellifers cycle last year – I photographed flowers and then the dried brown seed pods but I don’t remember noticing the colourful seed pod stage. I’m pleased I noticed this year!
