Heather Haze

Some pretty pink heather brightens up an overcast day.

We had a hint of Spring last week with warm temps and sunny skies but all has turned rather Wintery since – with bitterly cold winds and a bit of snow.

I’m always amazed and delighted at the resilience of newly-flowering plants with these changeable weather conditions.

    1. Thank you, Truels! Yes – the heathers are looking great at present. Although not the same variety as the Scottish ones, they do seem to be quite comfortable in the colder weather.

    1. Thank you, Jane. Yes – overall, it has been a mild Winter where I am. The daffs seem a bit slow to bloom this year, however.

Hoping things will thaw a bit for you soon.
