Heather Haze

Some pretty pink heather brightens up an overcast day.

We had a hint of Spring last week with warm temps and sunny skies but all has turned rather Wintery since – with bitterly cold winds and a bit of snow.

I’m always amazed and delighted at the resilience of newly-flowering plants with these changeable weather conditions.

    • Thank you, Truels! Yes – the heathers are looking great at present. Although not the same variety as the Scottish ones, they do seem to be quite comfortable in the colder weather.

    • Thank you, Jane. Yes – overall, it has been a mild Winter where I am. The daffs seem a bit slow to bloom this year, however.

Hoping things will thaw a bit for you soon.
