Sunshine in a Glass

It’s as if it was all a dream ……….

……… yesterday early-morning sitting on a sun-drenched terrace at the B&B in a small village on the North Cornwall coast, one could have been forgiven for thinking it was mid-July. My glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice sits – with shiny white ceramic salt and pepper pots for company – on a bright white resin table top – soaking up the sun just like me.

This morning (back at home) …………..

………………… back to reality. It is grey, drab brown and green, dank, damp and dismal.

    1. Thanks very much, E! The terrace had its own micro-climate; so sheltered and receptive to the warm rays of the sun at this time of year. We had a bit of a shock when we ventured out to the beach – finding the cold wind a little biting! Still – it felt so uplifting to have the warmth of the sun on that white-washed terrace.

  1. Excellent, M. that really looks very nice! It looks like it could be a mono picture with the yellow restored – and that all adds to its allure! I like it very much. This is the one you were talking about this morning – good stuff!

But remember, no matter how grey, drab brown and green, dank, damp and dismal today may have started for you, somewhere there was a FATman blogging … which actually … thinking about it … has absolutely no relevance … whatsoever….
