Through the Pines

Pinus2-201303

Some lichen-encrusted trunks and soft feathery foliage from a rather large and attractive pine tree (Pinus x holfordiana).

I like the way the trunks seem to follow the same curves.

  1. That’s very effective, M! Its like looking through a yellowish arch to all of that pale and softly focused greenery behind – a very restful and calming image. Good stuff! A

    • Thank you, Truels. These trees are evergreens so look good all year round! PS: you wouldn’t want our Spring at the moment. Winter has returned in the form of icy winds and snow πŸ˜‰
