Wow! So Beautiful.
Many thanks, Lynn. It was resting on a roof top which was also encrusted with some interesing white-coloured lichen.
Wow, it looks like tin foil. Excellent.
Thank you, Annie. Skeleton leaves are fascinating.
Thank you, Dreams and Zeros. I wonder if all the solid bits have come away now – leaving a filigree pattern which may be floating in the air!
The subtle lichens add an extra element of abstraction, making the decaying leaf look almost fossilized. I also love the slight accent of color to the whole, which otherwise would seem to be monochrome. Very effective–and lovely.
Thank you, Gary. It was interesting the way white lichens were growing on this slate roof rather than any other colour.
It looks like delicate lace!!
It does, doesn’t it?! Thank you, Lisa.
So beautiful and impressive shot…It is very fragile and thin jewelry!
Many thanks, Akanedou. It does have the look of fine fragile jewellery doesn’t it?!
Awesome! There is something so fascinating about skeleton leaves.
Thank you, Lunch Sketch. Yes – I agree!
Beautiful, and very artistic!
Thank you, Adrian!
The beautiful fragile bones of a leaf……gorgeous
