I love grasses and their beautiful Spring and Summer ‘flowers’. They are such tactile plants. There’s nothing like brushing up against them or absent-mindedly running one’s fingers through their soft light stems whilst walking along a path or the middle of a field – or meadow.
Today – the sun came out and the wind was slightly less chilling. It felt good. During a walk around the well-worn footpaths of the village, I turned a corner and came across a familiar lime-washed wall softly illuminated by the diffused sunlight. The grass flowers here emitted a slightly glaucous colour in the soft light which appealed to me very much.
That is very appealing.

Many thanks, Dreams and Zeros. The light was quite diffused at this moment – lending a softness to the scene. I’m pleased you like it.
