Hi M! The background of this shot is very like one you posted recently – same place? – but the addition of the almost silhouetted grass changes the feel, giving it more depth. And over much of the shot, the barley heads are pointing towards the shot’s main subject. A

Yes – it’s the same barley field as the image I posted a few days ago. This was taken just as I entered the field. Grasses and umbellifers lined the path here.
I hadn’t noticed how the barley heads are pointing towards the grass; thank you for pointing it out!

I would love to wander through it and feel the barley slip in and out of my fingers as I walked.

Barley is so tactile. Often one can walk along a footpath next to a barleyfield. I highly recommend it 😉
