Twig Drops

Twigs caught in a raindrop and a raindrop caught in the twigs.

After having a dose of January blues this week, I forced myself outside today to be with Nature – even though the forecast was for more rain. It was wonderful to be outside with the birds, the trees, the buds, the ducks and – yes – even the rain!

This is the first in a short series of ‘raindrops and twigs’.

    • Many thanks, Gary! As I said to Joe just now – I usually find these shots hard and have tried many times, but for some reason a few of these worked today! (I think my camera has a mind of its own πŸ˜‰ ).

  1. This is quite a strong image, M – and its good to see mono! I like the way the background is mostly trending towards lower right, whereas the thicker part of the subject branch is more horizontal. And the scene caught in that droplet is wonderful, and certainly enhanced by being the brightest thing in the frame. A
