Ribbons n Bows

A pretty red witch hazel resembles ribbons and bows – to my mind, anyway!

I photographed this whilst at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, UK, where they have the national collection of witch hazels.

  1. Oh yes ๐Ÿ™‚ Aren’t they lovely … am not sure if I’ve seen red …but I do have one branch with the yellow ribbons and bows in with some flowers at the moment .

  2. That’s very nice, M, and I’m right with you re the ribbons and bows. That the pinks are almost the only colours there is effective, and I like the patterns of the dark branches across the frame – almost like scaffolding. A ๐Ÿ™‚
