  1. Oh, that is so springlike! It’s hard to imagine that you really are having that mild a winter! It’s going to be a long time until anything like that starts growing again here, and it’s wonderful and warming to see the beauty of your new growth!

    1. Thank you, Gary! It has been an incredibly mild Winter – so far. The forecast is for the winds to change direction this coming week (from the East) so we may, yet, have a cold spell.

    1. Many thanks! They do look unusual and – as you say – showy! They certainly brighten up dull January days. An alternative name for them is the ‘Epiphany tree’ as they tend to flower around that time.
