These would look great in a garden border, I think – but then, they might take over all the neat and tidy areas pretty quickly!

  1. M, I prefer the first of these two shots because it has a better defined subject up front that differs from the constituents of the background; but I do think that the greater prevalence of orange-browns in the background here adds a lot to this shot. A

    • Thanks, Adrian. Yes they are quite different although similar. It took me ages to make up my mind which of them to post – hence both of them appearing! This one is all about colour and form rather than one defined subject.
