leafall

leafall2-201411Two easy on the eye leaf images – each with a different colour tone and feel.

The above image is a mix of different coloured willow leaves – plus an unidentified bigger leaf.

Below a rather warmer mix of metallic looking birch leaves. Both taken today walking along a newly-gravelled riverside path on a lovely bright day.

gsb-201411I love the way leaves fall in their seemingly random groups.

    • Thank you, Rachael. The leaves looked really pretty as they lay on the lovely crunchy new gravel in the midday Autumn sunshine! They looked nice and dry on this surface as opposed to soggy in other places (more usual at this time of year).
