Seeing the Sea

pinkpatts2-201601Seeing the sea by the sea in a beautiful paint-peeled boat.

Spotted whilst visiting the Jurassic coast of Kimmeridge, Dorset, UK, on a bracing, enlivening, Winter’s day.

  1. Very nice, Meanderer…and I admire your selection of words, too, in describing your day…”a bracing, enlivening, Winter’s day.” Sounds fresh and nicely crisp…like it would put a bit of red in the tip of one’s nose. 🙂

    1. Ha, ha – yes, indeed; one needed to be buttoned up and warm-hatted, for sure! Certainly a place (the rugged South coast) and conditions (cold biting winds with bright Winter sunshine) to blow the cobwebs away 🙂 Thanks, Scott!

      1. You’re welcome, Meanderer…and while I don’t want the weather to conduct itself in such a manner every day, it is nice to have it behave so on occasion…to enliven us!

  2. I like this a lot, M – the textures, and the combination of those vivid blues with the pinks and reds >>> and those splashes of vivid blue flecked with white look as it they’re dancing across the frame >>> in fact the central blue area is a dancing figure, leaning over to the right and with two quite chunky ( just how flattering can I get???) legs. Good stuff! 🙂

      1. There are three big splodges of blue more or less horizontally across the centre of the frame – he’s/she’s the middle splodge >>> in fact I think that should go on his/her CV!!!! Above the waist, s/he’s roughly triangular – how flattering can I be?! 🙂
