Chard!

chard-201609

A wonderfully colourful plant for the veg garden, however I don’t think I have ever tasted it! Photographed at the National Botanical Gardens of Wales.

I’ve returned to photography and posting after a Summer break, to discover the old dashboard gone. This will take a bit of getting used to!

Loving the soft September light which has sparked my enthusiasm for photography once again – although it is unseasonably hot and humid.

Looking forward to seeing what you have all been up to 🙂

  1. I don’t think the old dashboard has gone, at least not if you’re a PC user – or I might be thinking of the old (and v much still working) image editor, which I access through WP Admin. Love the yellow-orange in the pic. A 🙂

  2. Glad you took a summer break–but glad you are now back too! The clarity and colors of this image are incredible. It sounds like you found the “old” dashboard. I know WP keeps wanting me to use the newer version, but I like the old one too. However you do it, I’m glad you will be posting again!

    1. Hello Patti! Thank you very much for your good words. I like the old version because it seems quicker and simpler. I’m trying to find a quicker way to access it as it’s taking lots of clicks to get there (I’m not always as patient as I could be 🙂 ). Hope all is good with you.

  3. Hi, Colourful chard enhances the garden and is easy to grow here. I have a pot of ruby chard which has red coloured stems growing on my front verandah. I love the way the ruby red colour glows when it is sunny. I prefer chard to silver beet because of its milder taste.
