Love it with those huge clouds above! (would fit great in my series ‘People are Small’)
Thank you! I hadn’t noticed your series (have been looking through your ‘abstracts’ archive). Will be over to have a look 🙂
https://harrienijland2.wordpress.com/people-are-small/ have fun!
Genius. It’s not easy to do justice to big skies and tiny people and you’ve done both. I love that image.
Thank you very much, Finn. I found this one from three years ago in my archives yesterday evening. I took the photo as I was walking from Weymouth to Portland along the beach road – the people were standing on Chesil bank. I remember it being a miserable walk – it was really windy – a cold persistent wind. I was tired, grumpy, and had ear ache!
I guess discomfort can, on occasion, inspire the Muse within. Certainly seemed to work for you down on Chesil that day!
Love it … such a lovely surprise to scroll down through clouds and find those tiny people !
Splendid vision M 🙂
Thank you, L! As I mentioned to Finn above, this was taken on a cold windy October day three years ago whilst walking parallel with Chesil bank. The people were just in the right place at the right time!
Puts us firmly in perspective, puts us in our place; and I very much like the way you’ve rendered the sky – esp that great diagonal belt of clouds across the centre. A
Thank you, Adrian!
I love that. A bold dramatic sky and the people reduced to pins. What a wonderful sense of space. It speaks to me of how insignificant we are in the face of nature.
Thank you, Andy.
