Winter Bramble

winter_bramble3-201612Brambles always look so pretty in the Winter as they change to orange and red.

The wild and untamed Nature of this scene – a grass verge between a hedgerow and single track lane – appeals to me very much.

  1. A litle splash of colour is always welcome this time of year M ! Single track roads are worth investigating if time or legs allow 🙂 We found a lovely little back route through Witlshire earlier this year , lovely to see a couple of people busy charting the wildflower population along that space twixt road and hedgerow .

  2. Me too! I see a lot of similar scenes around here – we have zillions of brambles, tons of grasses…I like the complexity, all the fine detail, and such warm, harmonious colors. The simplest things are so satisfying, right?
