After a hectic weekend viewing a variety of arts and crafts via the Wylye Valley Art Trail, and encountering a cornucopia of exquisite scenery, I feel as if my senses are in overdrive.
Coming home to one’s familiar surroundings and garden helps to ground those heightened senses in readiness for everyday life – although these Nigella damascenas looking like they are in party mode – heighten the senses even more!
Love-in-a-mist is so exotic!

Thanks very much for your lovely comments! It is an extraordinary flower; I must have taken more shots of it than anything else so far (I think Barley might overtake it though 🙂 ). Thank you for stopping by.

I still think they have what it takes to be the muse for the next greatest thing to happen to the Royal Ascot “hat society”!

Oh, perfect Lu! Maybe we could look into some sort of collaboration; we’re both knitters – we could come up with the next big thing in millinery! Get ready Vogue magazine 🙂
