Witch hazel Yellow

I was so happy to see a very favourite Winter flowering plant of mine – Witch hazel – whilst on a visit to a botanic garden this week. This particular yellow variety was situated in the Japanese garden in front of a cream painted screen; the rare January sunshine creating strong shadows. The scent in the cool breeze was heavenly!
