A little sparrow perches on one of the exotic plants inside the big glass dome at a botanic garden.
I had ventured lower into the dome – escaping the hustle and bustle of a visiting antiques fair at the gardens – and found a quiet spot amongst the plants and the play of the little birds. Focusing upwards towards the overcast sky, this sparrow obliged whilst I photographed him (or her!).
