Barley Sky

I walked up to the Barley field again yesterday. I’m drawn to it and feel the need to go there every day. I’d never really looked at a field such as this before; I mean REALLY stopped and looked. It actually reminds me of the sea with its rhythmic waves created by the soft breeze. The restful rustling sound adds to the ambience. I find the sea to be meditative, but not so quick and easy to get to. It’s therefore pretty wonderful that this field is much closer to home.

    1. Yes, really beautiful. I think I could spend hours taking photographs of Barley. Just Barley. I could become just ever so slightly obsessed with it!

  1. I love this! I like how you’ve managed to capture the movement in this shot, but also get some really detailed areas in there too.
